What an informative mail SPS ! I could not understand much of it in
first casual glance. Need more time to digest. Thanks a lot.
  • > Those Warriors capable of using them were either Right Handed or
    > Left handed, but the word RIGHT HAND surfaced in RRC's period. In
    > the 11th Century, there was Tax collected @ ONE PANAM per Bow from
    > both RIGHT HAND and LEFT HAND USERS! (Magamai - tax).

This is a typical tendulkar stroke - if I may say. I have not read much
of the much respected scholar YS but this single fact is enough to show
his depth. Great ! Simply great !

Nowhere else have I come across a description for idangai-valangai
    better than this !!!! Class.
