Romila Thapar had to face torrents of American Hindus about many controversial matters of Indian istory .They widely and wildly used American Media and the Free for all websites. Now I am not discussing the right or wrong of NIR views, but the ethics of opposing in foreign Land. I recal an incidence, When Dr.Rammanohar Lohia was in UK on a tour of Europe. The pres persons aske him to give an opinion about Nehru’s administration, he declined . He further stated tha he would not criticize Nehru in foreign land. I wish and hope our NRIs will develop such culture ( Last 23rd March was Dr.Lohia’s birth centenary.)
