Impressive ! I thought it would be interesting to examine the etymology of some of the terms. Since I have heard kaani as a measure of land area, I thought I would look it up. The entry for kaani which is equal to 1/80 in the Lexicon has three entries. I suppose context or a qualifier is needed to determine if it is weight, area or distance.
