the latest issue of madras musings has 2 lovely satellite photos of palk strait and adams bridge. adams bridge looks like a diamond chain. 120 islands of which 22 come up every low tide.( sea around these islands are only 2-3 metres deep) will try to scan and put it on the photos section
are these islands mentioned in ps or are all naval trips in it from nagapattinam kodikarai side.
does any body at all in the novel use rameshwaram -mannaar route?

Dear Sri, now that you reminded me , alwarkadiyan has a big fight witht the shaivates and is brought before the prime minister. and i think he reprimands the pm for having deserted the vaishnavite faith. and kalki in the words of adiyan asks the pm are you so and so's grandson, are you not so and so's son the actual words i remember came from the anbil plates.

is the naval voyage of adiyan described? d oes kalki talk in detail about the adams bridge ? i just dont remember seeing anything like that? for kalki was very vocal in describing the kodikarai to lanka trip.
