Hi....! I have been a member of this group for the past few months, and it has definitely more than kindled my interest in South India's history. I have been a very quiet member just reading through the various posts etc. I am eternally thankful to one of the senior most and from the few interactions that I have had, an extremely knowledgable person as well, Mr.S.Gokul, for having had pointed me in correct directions, whenever I found myself lost. But a thought struck me, that while there are many of us here who are experts, though I still am just a student, discussing history from an expert's point of view. But there are still many NRI families out there, whose children may not know what we are attempting to do here. So I thought of starting a small newsletter kind of thing, where I could talk about the basics of South Indian history etc. I aim to address this mainly to our younger generation, who may not have much of chance to study our literature or history for that matter. What I want to do is to attempt to summarize and give in an composition manner the various discoveries and if possible a little history lesson as well. I hope that the senior-most members will take note of this and help me by suggesting some websites or essays, or if they have a softcopy of some pdfs et cetera, which I can use for this purpose. Even if it is books, then I will try to acquire the same somehow.
Hope you will all help me out in this amateur venture of mine....!
