Since there are lots of writers in our groups I thought it would be appropriate to ask this question in this forum.
If I scan a page can I convert that into a word document and edit that? Do we have a software (Preferably Open Source / Copy Left) for that? Can you please recommend a good software for typing in Tamizh? ~ Udanx
For writing in Tamil, you can use NHM Writer, Google Indic or Google Chrome Extension. I would prefer NHM Writer as you can use it any application instead of just browser.
Thank you very much for your reply. I have used http://google.com/transliterate. I can type in english and get the tamizh word. I can verywell paste that in word document as well. But my requirement is different.
My question in my previous mail was very ambigious. I will rephrase it again. If I type in MS Word and if I commit any spelling mistake it points it out by underlining that in RED. If my mistake is grammatical one it underlines it in a GREEN. Similarly do we have a software for Thamizh typing which will point out that I am typing something wrong?
Trust I have clearly stated my requirement.
