Natyanjali Festival at Chidambarm Temple The Natyanjali Festival is a celebration of dance dedicated to the Hindu cosmic dancer Lord Nataraja (Shiva). The event takes place each year at the holy temple town of Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu. The festival opens on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri at the "Prakara" of Chidambaram temple. The setting is more than appropriate for Tamil Nadu's classical dance. It reflect the old and traditional concept of our culture.
