Barathgyan
  • Hi folks,

Not sure if you guys saw this site http://www.bharathgyan.com/ (or read their books). I am not marketing this site. i came across (in You TUbe) about knowledge of ancient India and read couple of books.
can believe we can prove scientifically
    - NallaSetu is the world's first Carbon Fiber Bridge
    - Origin of universe
    - Did people used to fly in ancient time
    - many more...(I also come to know their next book is about The River was the actually a man-made (probably its the biggest engineering in the history)

They have couple of video presentation about their work in youtube.

    More details:

"Bharath Gyan is an initiative of D.K.Hari and his wife D.K.Hema Hari who have travelled extensively and visited number of museums, theme parks, libraries, expositions, pageants and special cultural attractions world over.

This exposure to the manner in which heritage is handled world over, motivated them to conceptualise and initiate "Bharath Gyan" - an endeavour to collate and disseminate information on the knowledge of India through the ages.

Bharath Gyan over the last 9 years, has collated over 300 hours of authentic and specific information on 64 different subjects of India to understand the culturally rich India with a non religious, scientific temper.

The diffentiating factor in the works of Bharath Gyan is the rational, scientific and wholistic approach to understanding the history of this only surviving ancient civilization by juxtaposing and piecing together missing links from the:-

    information inherent in our culture,
data available with the traditional scholar community,
    native knowledge of the locals,
authentic travelogues of the foreign visitors to our land,
historical notes from the archives of other countries and
research works of the modern scientific community.
This wholistic compilation is the result of careful scrutiny and validation of the information from the above listed various sources and then collation of the same in an integrated, interdisciplinary manner, which it rightfully deserves.

They currently give multimedia talks on these subjects to Educational Institutions, Research, Professional & Social organisations, Corporates etc.

Through Bharath Gyan, they would like to demystify India and encourage all to explore and understand the knowledge and heritage of India using a rational, scientific and wholistic temper."
