Gone thru the discussions. But one basic doubt. If vedas were not written then how come the world knew about it? And what do they teach in vedapadashalas ?
vedas are called as "sruthi" meaning "listened through ears". In tamil they were called as "elutha kizhavi" meaning one which should not written.It was also called as "marai" means one which should be secret with pundits alone and not open for all(every part is not open for all.ayurvedha in adharvavedha is only for doctors)
For generations they were memorized and passed on.Even now it is so.
