    DEAR FRIENDS,


    DR. KALAIKKOVAN & DR. NALINI - through their Dr. Rasamanickanar History Research Centre - have recently brought out (in tamil languagee) books ::

    1. MAHENDRA CAVE TEMPLES
    2. PALLAVA CAVE TEMPLES
    3. CAVE TEMPLES OF TAMILNADU.


    Those interested and would like to persue further will have to go through these works.

    These will be useful for enthusiasts like Saurab when translated in English.

    I can link those willing to undertake such translation with Dr. Kalaikkovan and Dr. Nalini - after seeking their permission.

    dear sps

    Dr's books are fantastic but to be honest - they are so technical and use
    such pure tamil words - that it would need someone to work very closely
    with them - almost on a line to line basis. This cannot be attempted by
    amateurs and calls for proficiency not only in tamil in english but also on
    temple architecture and iconography.
