    In that case should'nt it be brought back and kept for worshipping rather than keeping a statue outside.

    Ideally, that statue should be moved to Chennai and installed ( as a King) and this one inside the temple as Sivapada Sekaran.

    I feel that should be the right move and is my personal opinion.
