    Vaikunda perumal temple
     
    In a Round pillar in before the sanctum
     
     
    vali and sugreeva fighting - rama, lakshmana and hanuman watching
     
    Then the fight intensifies and Rama aiming at vali
     
    Both on the same pillar - the images are fading as devotees touch this pillar often

     
    It is a news for the people in the temple. Without Dr Nagaswami sir's guidence this would not have been noticed.

    Thanks Vijayan - That will also help to add to the compiling list.

    The vaigunta perumal is much older and hence the presence in that temple is a pointer toknowledge ramayana in olden days.

    Request members to post all the Pallava and early chola temple images they have.

    I am restricting the details to Pre RRC. ( Why, we will discuss after the end of the series- and Thanks to various inputs- More details are compiled-)

    will post on every wednesday and saturday or should we post once a week.
