Dear Sankar, Very interesting info. on the names of Munis. Many of us would have been thinking that they are all "Kaaval Deivam" Ayyanar's many postures. During the course of my visit to temples near kodavasal, I happened to visit one temple at a place called "Siththadi" the main diety being "Kaathayee Amman". The statues of Munis kept there are very huge and for your perusal I have attached a few photos of them. The temple is very neat and pujas are done by a boy of only 15 years (student). Since I was not a member of this group then, it didn't dawn in my mind to collect various informations as you all do during your visit.
