After several weeks, it is nice to be back and keep checking whatz goin on in the group everyday. Discussions on Trichy has been very interesting.
I will always have peculiar memory abt. malaikOttai. I have had several friends from chennai and coimbatore visiting me. We usually see temples around trichy and thanjai. When we go to malaikOttai, I always ask my friend accompanying to count the steps...kittathatta 80- aavathu padi varumbOthu, antha padi mutdhal kadaisi padi varai eN ezhuthi iruppathai kaNdu naNban kaduppaavathai kaNpathil oru alpa santhOsham;-)

There was one "suranga pathai" from malaikottai to Thanjai periya koil. we can see now at malaikottai after thayumanavar sannathi, while climbing up to uchi pillaiyar on the left hand side in locked condition.
