Vanakkam Sir, Regarding my self: My name is Ajith ( 39 yrs ), and I am a chettiyar family member in Kerala, I have some quistions or I nead some exact anser for the following: Sir, we the keralite chettiyars are belived we are came from Thamil Nadu and settiled in kerala, for this matter , we belived several mytholagical storys also. among those storys, most famous one is conected with CHILAPATHIKARAM - Kannaki story ( that you may know ) , the other one is like this: one famous raja of Kanjipuram like to marie a Vaniya girl, but her father was very orthodox thinking man , he did not like to give her daughter to Raja .....and they ( the chettiyar family and there relatives ) are escaped from Kanjipuram through Kavery river..Mun patti pura peruki...just like that some lines allso I heard somewere, can you explain this second story, I want to know, more about Kanjipuram and Storys or myth of Chettiyars of Kanjipuram and famous temples of chettiyar kula devatha....
