I'm planning to take my family to the big temple, Thanjavur this weekend (mostly on 25th december). My main reason for this visit it to make the kids in the family (my neice, and nephews) know about this greatest place, and learn about Rajaraja, the great.
I would like to have an experienced guide who can take us inside the temple, and explain the maximum about the temple, its construction, Rajaraja, Chola dynasty, etc. Please let me know if someone knows any guide already. It would be of great help to me, and my family. Not sure how much a guide there would charge, and also not sure how much they can explain. So, asking this question in the group. Please help.
