DINDIGUL: A 21-inch high granite idol of Sri Sandikeswarar was found at Mettupatti near here on Thursday, when a group of construction workers were digging for construction of a temple.
The idol in sitting posture has its left leg folded below the waist.
The workers found it seven foot below the earth. â" Staff Reporter
