just one thought in the evolution of the nataraja
in this early depiction the major differences are there is no demon beneath his feet and nataraja's front left hand is on the left side
but if you could just imagine this in animation or like a comic when his hand moves to the right side he would have knocked the drum player beneath his foot and lo we have today's nataraja.
