I know it isn't equivalent to Bharathi or Kalki's birthday but if ever cricket had a poet it should have been GRV. I cant forget Sunil Gavaskar describing GRV's celebration after his hundred (i think in England).." With shy smile he doffed his cap while raising his bat were all that he did after his hundred.
