Last weekend I saw Mozhi and Pachai Kili Muthucharam. To say the least I was spellbound by the versatility of Jotika in both the movies. What struck me most was her characterization in both the movies. As a deaf and dump girl in Mozhi and as a terrifying villi in PKM. I think she is the most suitable of actors in the current lot to plat Mandhakini(as in Mozhi) and Nandini(PKM), if at all PS is taken as a movie project.
nandini and mandakini look so much alike and we find nandini using that to her advantage unknowingly. she terrifies sundara solan. so many charecters recall another face when they see nandini but are not able to recall from the depths of their memories..
Thats an interesting observation n seems quite right too. Also I think Ramya krishnan will fit in the role of Nandhini perfectly remembering her performance in Padayappa. I think the physical and mental characteristics of Nandhini suits well for her.
I also heard sometime back that Manirathnam had an idea of making PS as a film. Due to the budget and ohter constraints the idea was dropped. Hope someone makes it.

Dear yuva welcome there have been discussion of this nature in the past with artists from TR Rajakumari to Al Pacino fitting various charectors is an interesting read but by all means start it again

another coincidence with Jyothika! There is a song in the movie DUMDUMDUM(possibly) describes Jyothika as Thanjavur Raani. The song has been shot in Periya Kovil itself. You can enjoy seeing Jyothika in royal costumes in that song.

No, i think you are mentioning when Alwarkadiyan and Poonguzahli goes after mandhakini's killer. They are in the same place in the cave, but will not meet or speak to each other.
Actually they dont meet each other. But Poonguzali does see Nandhini in Pachaimalai when Nandhini is about to run away.(Remember, that after Aditya's murder they stay in a cave) Initially Poonguzali is stunned to see Nandhini. She thinks that it is Mandhakini and then immediately remembers that her aunt is already dead and ralises that the lady she is looking at is Pazhuvoor rani.
