The period of silence as Dr Sridhar quoted, I think would will always occur to any loosely knitted group like ours. No offense meant, just wondering what is the purpose of the discussions we have, had and going to have, I think it just sums up to each individual's joy in learning about the history sharing what they know to the others.
If you look at the most active group around the internet, they always have a purpose defined and the group will be enthusiastic beyond the few always buzzing members. I have been member of some other authors/books fan clubs, but seen them dying after a some time just because the active guys just loose interest, or with their own pressing problems.
But our group goes beyond that as I could see. For years(first mail has been posted on 2002 march), this group has been active and very active during 2005 and 2006, and as SPS and other mentioned there are lot of information available in the archive of our group. May we can, for now define the a way to identify, collect and store the info for reference of those interested.Already Madan has proposed a the data collection, let me be a vouleenter for that task.
