PS groups's first meeting of this year happened today. Meeting was attened by Sps, Sriraman, Venkatesh, Sathis, Swetha, Chandra, Sankaran and myself. Unfortunately no new members. The meeting was lively with Sriraman sir explaining about the chola mural paitings at Big Temple. Most of today's discussion was centered around the next week's trip(feb 4th), for which SPS will be sending a detailed mail. SPS explained about Udayalur temple he visited last week with some beautiful photos he has taken with his mobile(has been uploaded at the group page). We broke of by 8.00, after some hearty snacks from SPS.
It was a great meeting indeed. As Siva mentioned it was the same old group which met last time. Expected atleast a couple of new faces but we all were disappointed. :( The same group, same sponsor (SPS) for snacks with the same official drink of PS (Kalimark Bovonto :) ) but entirely new topics.
Lots of new insight into history. Mr.Sriram is an asset to us and he never misses to attend any of the meetings in the recent past. His humility and knowledge has been moving us all deeply.
Though SPS is a long timer, he never ceases to surprise us in every meeting. He has some thing or the other to discuss and contribute in every meeting. Those who missed the meeting really missed a lot. Especially the info about chola murals by Sriraman and about udayalur by SPS.
We 8 of us have already confirmed for the 4th Feb trip and May 1st Vanthiya thevan trip. Please confirm your participation for the 4th trip before 31st so that we can arrange the logistics.
