hi all iam a new member to PSgroup. iam from chennai , now living in US.Its really interesting reading about travelling to all the places featured in the novel. i have been to tanjore temple and it was too good just looking at the temple and think about raja raja and vanthiya thevan and kundavai. there has been a lot of talk about how every body are trying to make PS into a movie - right from sivaji and now kamal. my question is this: whom do you think who fit the roles best now and 30 years back. i cant think of anyone playing the roles now. but 30 yrs back it would definetely be : vanthiya thevan - who other than "kadhal mannan" gemini arunmozhi varman - sivaji nandhini - vaijayanthi mala kundavai - padmini vanathi - savithri adita karikalan - balaji ravidasan - nambiyar periya pirati sembiyan madevi - kannamba manthagini - pandari bai
any body has any ideas about the starcast would have been and would be now?? reply.
one more thing, i think the movie should be shot in 5 parts as they are doing "harry potter" now for i dont think they can do justice to the novel by condensing it all into 1 movie.
