    Feel to call for a meeting
    first to discuss and to draw the plan of action for the below:

    Prefer to have the
    meeting in any holiday as it will facilitate our out station member to
    participate (as we all know the PS Group has gone beyond the continents) 

    Agenda:

    1)Book
    Publishing by PSVP
    2)Trip
    to Chola desam ( Long pending)
    3)A
    Lecture by Dr,Kudavayil or Kalikovan or Dr, Sathiyamuthy ( Even All) About Cholas – surely will help the new members
    4)Form
    a team to take up the PS knowledge and the interest to next level ( Gokul & Team can guide & Lead)
    5)Plan
    and Team forming for any other Individual projects – Such as like Sembian Madevi Project of Sankarnarayan
    ta and other items added by members

    Cost factors can be worked out and the same can be shared by members.

    I went for a trip on PS. Me and my Chithi(Mom’s sister) are gr8 fans of
    this novel which inspired us to go on a trip to the Chola desam, especially
    to the places that comes in PS.

    We started our trip from Bangalore in our Car, since she resides there.We
    decided to drive on our own for convenience and privacy.

    PLACES COVERED BY US – Veeranam eri, Chidambaram, Pichavaram, Kadambur,
    Kollidam, Poompuhar, Kodikkarai, Nagapattinam, Vedaranyam, Thiruvarur,
    Thiruvaiyaru, Kudanthai, Udaiyalur, Pazhayarai, Konerirajapuram(6 ft
    Nataraja statue), Pazhuvur, Gangai konda cholapuram, Tanjore, Srirangam.

    Good to see you back after so many years. (Hope you are the same old
    Shankaran of our group who joined us in 2005 trip).

    Keep posting.

    As Shankaran said, the trip is long pending. The last major trip we had is
    in 2005. Though we had lots of smaller trips, I think all were restricted
    to one dayers…

    we s hould plan something bigger.

    Yes the same old Shankaran.

    In fact i suggest we need to arrange for a yearly trip particularly with the new members , so that they can feel the land and as we did earlier we can request Dr.Kalikovan or Dr.Kudavoyil for aninteraction on site, sure it will make the team feel and to understand.

    if you have good snaps of the monuments mentioned in PS please do post them in our photos section. i think there is already a folder. And thirum may do a map for reaching these sites with photos too
