    Dear Members,

    I am going to boast what did I bought yesterday, would appreciate if you
    could all give a run down list as Sankar did.

    1. Indraya Gandhi (Today’s Gandhi) – Jeyamohan – Thamizhini Publications
    2. Dalai Laama – Muruganantham – Vikatan – I know bit late..
    3. Che Guevara – Ajay Bala – Vikatan
    5. Perunthalaivar Kamarajar – S. K. Murugan – Vikatan
    6. Sujatha(oughts) – Vikatan

    I couldn’t get Venkat’s Kanchi Tharagai as the queue @ Vanathi was big,
    would have taken at least 30 mins, had to rush, will buy it later. Couldn’t
    get Pirates as they didn’t have it (Sold out?).

    Went after a long time. Thanks to BAPASI for organizing this big event
    and did it very well. All stalls had crowds and selling well.

    The complete mythology collection from Amar Chitra Katha (from Giri Trading
    Stall). 73 books costs Rs.3000.
    Then picked up ‘Sundara Kandam’ of both Valmiki and Kamba ramayanam from
    ‘Gita Press’ stall – Total cost Rs.100. They really amaze me with high
    quality books at amazing rates.

    Had to take Sivarams help to carry the books as the ACK collection was too
    heavy.

    Wanted to buy a book, but did not as i could not carry.

    But again read that, DK held a meeting last week for two days, to thrash
    this book….
    So thought it should have real substance and today when my neighbor said he
    is going to book fair, I asked him to get this book.

    pathipagam. Cost Rs. 425
    Earlier in 2010 this was published in English as ‘Breaking India?’ by the
    same authors and now its translated into Tamil by Aravindan Neelakandan.

    1. Nataraja by C. Sivaramamuthi (more excited to buy Nataraja)
    2. Vijayanagara Paintings by C. Sivaramamuthi and
    3. Set of 5 books about coins collection by Era. Krishnamoorthy (dinamalar)

    After visiting book fair, if you are running having financial crisis def’ly
    Mr. Kalki will help you.
    Each and every one has printed PS and selling like hot cakes.
    Those who are buying PS from other publishers need to be very careful as
    there is high chance of missing portion.

    Also, after visiting Vikatan press, I felt paying additional amount for 5
    water colour picture on each volume is not justifiable.
    Was these water colour pictures are the original by gr8 Manian or later
    addition by others?

    more details, I think you got one day to go and get the books at the
    discount. each and every chapter has paintings from the original series by
    Mr. Maniam and they are very good.

    If you still think that the book is not worth the price, I don’t know what
    to say.

    Hello Mr. Eswaran,

    I bought two volumes of Cholargal in Delhi Book Fair in 2010 December!! The copies I bought looked like antiques though.. how about yours.. are they a new print new edition or does it have an old  book feel?

    I have to yet read all of it.. but when i bought it I thought I bought the last surviving copies haha.. Congrats to you!
