    friends,
    in SIVAKAMIYIN SABATHAM chapter 12 there is a mention of a town called asokapuram. this is stated to be on the way from kancheepuram and chidambaram. the author says it had asokan edicts and pillars. but in the novel it is stated to be a fallen town. was it a real town or fictious? i have heard there were no asokan edicts in tamilnadu.
