    these were also changed by the govt. but still most people call these places by the old name (i personally still feel comfortable with the old names).

    places which got their names just a few hundred years ago- athaye mathikka mudiyala..religious belief of people that too….innum 2.5 varushatula mara pora govt. order….ungalukke intha kelvi koncham overa illa.

    govt cannot change the birth of the tamil new year ” virodhi aandu ” from middle of april by about six months earlier or later.
    looks like tuglak regime’s rule.

    Dear Friends,

    On behalf of our PS Family attended the wedding function of our dearest Rahul Dhinakaran at Kumbakonam on Friday, the 27th November.

    I was accompanying Dr. Nagaswamy re some heritage related matters. He too was kind enough to attend the function and Bless Rahul and his wife.

    Rahul’s father-in-law – Doctor – hails from Thiruveezhimizhalai !!

    Dr. Nagaswamy exchanged some of his recollections on TVM with him.

    Rahul’s parents and relative attended us so well and convyed their thanks to our Group.
