==================
Dear Kamal,
I thank the team for acknowldging my efforts, but request consider
this as Group effort as others also offered help in this direction.
Re magudagamam, I posted my view:
” It is unique and rare opportunity to have association with
contemporary Historians in the calibre of Dr. Kalaikkovan, Dr.
Nalini, Dr. Sathiamurthy, Dr. Kudavoil Balasubramanian and Dr,
Nagaswamy, thanks to Ponniyinselvan Yahoo Group.
Now we know there is MAKUDAGAMAM published in Grantha by Sivacharia
Association, Tamilnadu and fm Sankrit – translated in English by Madam
Dr. Rama Gosh, Banaras.
These two versions themselves do vary in content.
As the Agamas do contain POORVA – GNANA – KRIYA and other Baagas, we
do not have in hand the POORVA – GNANA Baaga – means the Agama as a
whole.
As of now, Pondy French Indology Institute appears to be the only
source where the manuscript of ENTIRE (? – hope)( Makudagama ) is avl.
Efforts are underway to get first hand details from this Institution.
No doubt this subject has kindled interest now among Scholars to find
Truth on matters discussed so far related to the Bigtemple and
students like me are always ready to offer sincere and earnest support
in achieving this smoothly. ”
best regards / sps
