Veerabhadra Temple at Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh is famous for its murals of Vijayanagara period. A majestic mural of Veerabhadra painted on the ceiling of its Maha-Mandapa is the largest mural of Asia, larger than the famous Tripurantaka of Brihadeeshvara temple. Among other paintings of this temple, Kiratarjuniya, Shiva's Marriage and Draupadi's Svamvara are worth seeing. One more thing to notice is the patterns of saree designs depicted in the various paintings of this temple.
