    There are various froms of Bhakthi
     
    Dasa bhava Bhakthi - One who prays to God as God's servant - Appar showed the way
     
    Putra Bhava Bhakthi - One considers oneself as the God's child - Sambandar way
     
    Saha bhava bhakthi - One considers God as his friend - Sundarar way
     
    Sishya Bhava Bhakthi - One who considers him as the student of the God - Manickavasagar way
     
    Kantha bhava Bhakthi - One who considers God as husband - Andal way ( Many ahathurai padalgal or Bharahiyar's kannan en kadalan, kannamma way)
     
    Pitru Bhava Bhakthi - One who considers God as his child - Periyazhwar way - Many vaishnava scholars, Pillaithamizh etc

    The devotee who in a Matrubhava Bhakthi adopted Godess Parvati as her daughter, got her married to Lord Siva and gave a sridhana.
     

    We will see another such devotee tomarrow.

    If I remember right, God was considered a co-worker in the cause of Good against evil. Every one was cosidered a co-worker of god, and then came adithi devo bhava. The bhakti movement made God responsible for everything, as if man had no part in it!! It is dilution of a noble concept
