    The art work for Sivakamiyin Sabadham was done by Varma. Kalki used Maniyam for the first time in Ponniyin Selvan. The rest is history.

    I will rate artist Silpi one step above Maniyam - but certainly these two giants can be enjoyed without being compared.

    Those who have read ponniyinselvan without seeing Maniyam's art works have only enjoyed 50% what PS magic is all about

    I fondly recollect our debates about Kalkis charectors by Maniam and Vinu and how Vinu bettered Maniam's concepualisation on Kalki's Charectors way back in 2004/05.
