As intimated earlier - particularly for those from our Group who are presenting papers / participating in the Chemmozhimanadu in CBT - like Dhivakar - Vijay .. the proposed meet on the 20th June appears to be strenuous.
Instead some of them who are in chennai on the 19th June, suggest a quick tour around Chennai - like visiting some Mahendra Caves or Uthiramerur Thirupulivalam etc., starting around 730 am and returning around 430 pm.
Vijay - Arvind - appear to concur this option positive.
Satheesh also likely to be in chennai around this period.

Mamandoor caves preserve the best evidence for how cave temples were planned. Had they been completed they would have been the biggest complex of mahendra. It is here that mahendra says that he invented a veena to match the high pitch of his wife who was a good singer
Pl. do not miss the beauty of Oorthuva thandavam and Uma paintings at panaimalai (in a small room, in locked condition. But you can open the lock with empty hands :) .
