  • We had a divine grace of cisiting this temple.

Before entering the temple there is a small shrine for Aadhi
Vinayakar (as mentioned), the mighty pillayar with human face. At
the vicinity, there are Saptha Kannikas, on the open ground.

This place is now called 'Sethalapathi', against 'Thilagaipathi'
or 'Thilatharpanana puri'. Alongwside Lord Rama, there is also a
King Narchodhi, associated with this temple.

At the back of Great Lord Shiva Alais Muktheeshwara, Lord Rama and
and King Narchodhi, will stand worshipping Great Lord Shiva, as
Lingam. It is said, Lord Rama, did the tharpanam and the Pindams
turned Lingam. The Great Lord Muktheeshwara, thus grating Moksha for
    Jatayu and departed King Dasaratha.
