Dear all It is interesting to know that ancient tamilsdonated so much gold and jewels to the temples. Paranthakar donated gold to chidambaram and jatavarman did the same to srirangam.. Where did they all mine the gold was there so much abundance of gold which has diminished as a resource..Yes the british and moslem invaders looted the processed gold but where have the resources dissappeared have they been exhausted or is it part of the lost land under the sea?
