I's looking forward to read the article on PS trip in Kalki - but was rather disappointed with the account. Much of the article has been managed by 'cutting and pasting' various paragraphs from PS. The relevance of the place, the historic background, associated places (like the place in which Rajarajan is supposed to have been laid to rest), bala's encouragement via audio casette - all are missing or not presented in good detail. Also, the details about our egroup have just been mentioned in the passing and its activities have not been highlighted properly. With due respects to Mr.Vishvaksenan's writings I have to say that Pavi's travellogue was much more interesting, informative, fun filled and memorable. (Pavi - Thanks for scannning the article) Probably, this also highlights the commercial pressures - to which almost all the tamizh magazines are currently facing. Any opinions?
