In continuation of series of monuments of Karnataka, the next stop is at Bagali. This small hamlet was once a center of gravity as it narrates its history of six centuries through 50-odd inscriptions. The Kalleshvara temple at this village was originally a Rashtrakuta temple extended and patronized by later Western Chalukyas, Hoysalas and the Vijayanagara rulers.
