Power point by Arvind was splendid. He has presented this earlier in CBT conference in the august presence of Dr. Nagaswamy / Prof Swaminathan. Well preapred.
Chandra did share some details re Bronze making.. and Epigraphy courses.
sps mentioned to explore the possibility of including ICONOGRAPHY along with Epigraphy classes and plan Certificates for proficiency through a recognised Institution.. and Arvind (and team - with vijay - of course) confirmed all support.. Kudos. Arvind was honoured
Venkat spoke re Professional Writing by several Writers inspite of very less earning !
Muruganandam was well applauded and his book Feroz Gandhi stole the show. He enlightens : Gandhi (Feroz) of Parsi origin and Gandhi (Mohandas) of Gujarat origin are different !!
Audio Film maker Bharath spoke very well and needed support from our group re snippets - when audio movie is broadcast .. Group agrees to offer such support enthusiastically whenever needed.
Senior Government Official Dr. Kailasam ( PHD) who wrote Prequel to PS was honored by Venkat who wrote Sequel.
Ravi / Rajiniramki shared their experiences in a very professional way. along with all the writers present - Thiru / Krupashankar were also honored.
Swetha - of having completed reading of Gokul's Serarkoattai in onego - appreciated very much the research details - how Kandhalur is connected with Aditha karikalan murder - and it is prequel to Rajakesari (who story time-line is about week - fortnight) and the time line of Serarkoattai - about 6 - 8 months !!
Sankaranarayan's Power point on Rama - who visited the temples in southern tip - which included Thiruvamathur near Villupuram - temples near Muthupet / Thriuthuraipoondi - Kodiakarai Ramar paadham & Rameswaram - was excellent.

sps summarised 10 years activities of our Group :
1. that the Group is intrumental in shaping up several Writers - who have contributed to the field of Literature.. It is important to note that on Feroz Gandhi - Muruganandam's biography is the only authentic reference avl.
2. that the Group is instrumental in motivating several members to pursue more studies related to History and himself and Gokul are research-students.. Gokul earns the special distinction of being the only one who contributes to Literature as well as History related research studies.
3. that the group is instrumental in motivating talents who specialises in Art & Architecture / Literature - through several Blogs - which include Blogs like Poetry in stone, Karka..nirka.. by vairam, Saurab's blog and vamsadhara blogs / publications by Vizag Dhiwakar... Children story writing by Pavithra srinivasan... Likewise we have painters like Sriram - and REACH Chandra mentioned that he uses such talents in YALI monthly Magazine.. Yali is ready to publish Interesting articles from members. (mail to plastic chandra).
4. that several members - as discussed in the Meet - are able to identify their talents and form their core-Group and our Main Group is always ready to help in bringing out their efforts and serve as a Platform.. in the cause of preserving our Rich Heritage and handing over the same to the next Generation.
