Many of us have visited the shrine of the oldest Sapthamatrikas in the Pazaya Seevaram/ Thirumukkoodal junction which happens to be most mutilated ones as the applying of thaila-kkappu on it for ages. Now, the temple priest has agreed to allow us to clean them to its original beauty. Tomorrow I am leaving for that place armed with all natural cleaning agents and am trying to restore the sculptures. Anyone willing to join me can join me by 7 Am at Cenotaph road, Teynampet, in my residence.
I will be visiting Kanchi, then Thirumukkoodal and then an abandoned Krishna temple in Sathanancheri, close to Arunkundram, near Salavakkam on 2nd March 2012
