Temple Oonjal Festival

 

This is the Unique Temple in Tamilnadu  on the bank
of the Arisalaar, a tributary of the Kaveri. The temple was built by a renowned
Tamil poet, Ottakoothar, and the town itself is named after him as Koothanur. Oonjal is a kind of swing. In
temples , the Oonjal festival is very traditonal one. In Kothanur this Oonjal
Festival is from 09.10.2011 to 17.10.2011
