friends, iwent to udayarpalayam couple of days ago. i wont say the things are pretty bad. there are still lot of structures that can be preserved. there is a official hall, and a few bungalows. the parapet wall is still there. on the whole the campus is 20 acres. and the built area is 5 acres. the clan appear to me only as the descendents of the great pallavas. there were many cryptic evidences for that.
i had a satisfaction of seeing the vestiges of a 2000 year old pallavan dynasty.
