    Thanjavur Brihadeeswara temple - a center of the arts

    Illustrated lecture by Shri Pradeep Chakravarthy, Madras based historian,
    columnist and author of The Cultural History of Thanjavur

    The temple has a fantastic history from its inception till date of fostering

    the best of arts - painting, music and dance. The lecture will examine these

    contributions as a celebration of the 1000th year of its consecration.

    I am giving one more talk on the Sarasvati Mahal library on the 30th -
