The elephants tusk do appear to be split..I thought it may be artifact but it is symmetrical on both the tusks...
The Asthras or Missiles are usually depicted as spear or arrow heads so it may be pasupathasthra..
What interested me most was...the depiction of the various animals in the relief most are in pairs male and female be it the devas...the gods and goddesses..the commoners...the animals...going hand in hand with the thevaram discussion we were having...
Male and female in all forms were the Lord and Devi himself
