Am sure you have read many inscriptions of rrc and rjc. Can you elaborate the purpose of these temple inscriptions. Except for the big temple dancer inscription, land record inscription etc ( a few) ....rest all run to say 50 lines... The actual jist is only the last two lines !! The rest is defn not praise of the god but the lord of the land. Is this not akin to present day politicians aka mugasthuthi.
