Hi the other day there was this programme onjaya tv for the remake of the classic palaivana solai movie.
palaivana solai was a mega hit in 1981 and many of our school years were spent in humming the megamE megamE song. the original story writer who also directed the original was rajasekhar.
rajasekhar was asked how he did this lovely story and he said, the last few lines of PS where kalki says vanthiyathevan was never the same again after manmikalai's death was the core for this story.
