These are my photos taken over the period of about a year or two - my visits to Thanjavur district, and a few pictures of Chennai also. I've got pictures of Thanjavur Periya Kovil, Darasuram, Cholapuram and a few other places. I will be uploading some more pictures that I have taken, as and when I find time to touch them up and upload them. Please give me your comments/suggestions.
Dear Shashwath, I enjoyed your photos. The lavender & black flower at Kattupalli is Passiflora [species], 'Passion Flower', sacred to Christians because sepals and stamen look like the instruments of Jesus's crucifixion. It's in a family by itself, many pretty species & varieties. Kathie
