No one to blame individually - collective failure to let alone appreciate, even see them - is to blame. Art suffers when there is no one to appreciate. the lack of awareness, leads to neglect - neglect of the works leads to neglect of the creator. so we have already lost the creators, only the last remnants of the works exist. People are paying thousands of dollars for modern art - which hardly makes any sense ( sorry for art enthusiasts), for fashion - clothes that can never be worn - channels promote these. But no one cares about these real treasures.
