'Slaves'? Did India had the practice of having slaves? I have somewhere read that India is the only country which never indulged in slave trade.
Prisinors of wars used as slaves ... we have postulated this while discussing temple constructions or other social activities. But did a slave at personal level practiced in India? I doubt? Do we have any other records on this subject?
