Late Mrs.M.S.Subbulakshmi and Kalki Sadasivam constructed a Kalyana mandapam near the hill. Once I saw the ruins and inquired about it with the Board. They refused to answer! More over there are good number of tenants occupied with the temple land and land may be more than 300-500 acres.
what happened to the kalyana mandapa? I think they have demolished it and are building a new structure over it - probably another kalyana mandapa - am not sure - will ask people there when I go there next and tell you...
yes, I know about that temple - I got married there. You can say I have some close 'ties' with the temple ;)
