The mail count is 947 for this month. We are getting around 300 mails per week in this month and one more week to go. The record so far is 1070 mails per month in aug 2005 and now we are almost there.
As SPS said, earlier it was mostly discussion on Tanjai trip (with few junk mails from me, Swetha and Diwakar...ithu 1000th mail, ithu 1010th mail....etc :) )
But this month, the contents are really heavy and very good exchange of ideas. Really heavy and I would say a record in Religious discussion without get ugly and highly spiritual.

VV jinx has a negative connotation and means an evil spell or a person believed to bring bad luck. I thought of recommending 'booty, but this also means 'Goods or money obtained illegally'. We have to look for a better word. Sampath

you are right. the mail flow is more during Aug-sep months, though we cannot say that thats the highest during a year.
This time lot of new records - many new members have contributed, most of the topics are of heavy subject with useful information, lot of awareness created on preserving our heritage etc.
