Dont' really know if this has been discussed before. My first ever Mahabharat story was in the form of a Kathakali performance in my grandmother's native village of Kerala. The story was about Duryodhana and Bheema (I was about 6 years then so dont' remember more) but the colors, music and the liveliness of the play still says with me. We have the tamil equivalent in Therukoothu. Has anyone been to a live performance?
